Appointment Policies
Our goal is to provide quality health care to our patients in a timely manner. Clients who are later or who do not show up to their scheduled appointments not only inconvenience our providers - they also inconvenience our other clients.
Office Visit Fees We offer many types of exams depending on what your pet is coming in for. Office exams to simply update your pet's wellness visit are recommended to be done every 6 months. These exams are $62.00 for both new clients and those already established with us.
If your pet is sick or injured, exam cost is $72.00 for new or existing clients.
We also work with the local Central Oregon humane societies to provide care to those who have a recently adopted pet. Those who have recently adopted a pet from a Central Oregon rescue or shelter receive a complimentary exam if seen within 30 days of adoption, with proof of adoption.
Missed Appointment Policy Clients who do not make their scheduled appointment times and do not cancel in advance may be subject to the following: - First no-show incident: Warning - Second no-show incident: Clients may be charged for half of their exam fee - Third no-show incident: Clients will be charged for full price of the missed exam and will be required to place a deposit in advance for all future appointments. - Missed surgery appointments may be subject to a $75 fee or requirement to place deposit prior to rescheduling a procedure.
Appointment Cancellations When you schedule an appointment for your pet, you are reserving a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. To be respectful of your fellow clients and their pets, please call us as soon as you know you will not be able to keep your appointment. Appointments are in high demand, and your advance notice will allow another patient to access to that appointment time. We ask that you please give us 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment.
Late Arrivals We know that your time is valuable - ours is too! Out of respect for our staff and other clients, clients arriving 10 minutes or more past their scheduled appointment time will not be seen for their visit and may be required to reschedule their appointment. After 15 minutes, this is considered a "no-show" and will be added to your account.
